The Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classic Edition -the most affordable pulsar range

The most popular 150CC segments bike of the country is none other than the Bajaj Pulsar 150. It is the bike which is continuously popular into this segment from more than a decade now. Whereas the brand is also working on the next gen pulsar range which may include the 150cc pulsar and 250cc pulsar model.

Well, the brand has introduced the bike in all new avatar by introducing the two new color variants in the section.

The Pulsar 150 classic is now available in three color schemes as:

  • The full black color option,
  • The black with red highlights and,
  • The black with silver highlights

The bike in red or silver highlights is found on the accents of the bike which is just above its headlamps, on its wheels and on the faux air vents which is available at the side panels. You will also see the highlights as the Pulsar logo and on the 150 branding too as they are available in red or silver. The stitching on its seats has also been available as per your color choice. It is the base variant in the pulsar line-up.

About the price

Whereas there is no change in the Pulsar 150 price. The Pulsar 150 price is in the range from 74,313 to 79,305.


On the features list, the Bajaj Pulsar 150classic does not have the features which are already existing in the Pulsar 150 model.

The new pulsar classic features a single piece seat whereas there is spilt seat. The classic 150 model has a drum brake whereas the existing model has the disc brake feature at the rear. There is no tank extension as well as the body graphics features on the pulsar classic 150.

The design of pulsar classic 150model is same as the second generation pulsar edition which was launched in 2006. Whereas the mechanicals of pulsar classic 150 model is BS-IV which is same as available in the Bajaj Pulsar 150 2018 model.

The Engine

This new Bajaj Pulsar Classic 150 is fuelled by a 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder motor that produces 14bhp of intensity at 8,000rpm and 13.4Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. Power is then transmitted to its rear wheel through a 5-speed gearbox.

On the term of the braking system, the motorbike gets a 240mm front disc feature and 130mm rear drum brake. It also has the fuel-infused motor and monoshock suspension unit.

Thus, the all-new avtar of Bajaj Pulsar in the form of classic 150 is mainly produced to make it more affordable for the people. It is the second addition in the Pulsar range which is affordable in range. Whereas it lacks the attractive style and that is why the brand has introduced these new color graphics in the same.
